What does my market want?
Put yourself in your customers' shoes to figure out what they need and need to know to buy your product.

Why do I need to sell my idea?
Because you want financing and you want your product to sell.

Create compelling stories so that venture capitalists and customers can understand and finance or buy your product.

Why do I need to believe in my idea?
Because if you don't, no one else will.

Be confident
Display logic
Use language that is clear to sell your product

Effective communication only happens when ideas are received and understood in the manner in which you intended.

3 ways to communicate effectively

Verbal
With focus on your market, decide exactly what you should say and how you should say it by:

Speaking clearly
Speaking confidently
Anticipating responses

With written communication, less is more:

Avoid jargon/slang
Identify the problem
Show that your product is the solution
Use quantitative data for support

Since body language is key to effective communication:

Listen actively by paying full attention

Don't interrupt
