PROS
Decreasing the wages of children increases the profit of the factory, increasing their ability to produce more
This pumps more capital into the economy and allows for fast growth of other industries
For example, businesses made machines, and the textile factories needed those machines.
When the textile factories had to use less money for wages, they had more money left to buy these machines,
having the same affect on the machine shops, which could then carry it on to other industries

CONS
Child labor had negative affects on children's health
Children were paid 1/10 of what adults were paid
Children easily got sick in factories
The children working in these factories were no older than 7
Children would work varying from 18-21 hours per day
