EFFECTS TOURISM HAS ON OCEANS

  • Tourism is bad on the oceans the coastline is disappearing due to the building of new hotels to accommodate the flocks of tourists. The sewage that is caused by tourist are killing marine life. Also the building of hotels are making coastal towns and cities over populated and the area can't accommodate. Also tourist deplete the resources that towns have so the locals suffer for it. Studies have shown that coral reefs are being destroyed by harvesting and cruise ships.

ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ISSUES

  • Many costs of roads and centers fall on the government. Which that money could go to better causes.
  • It causes taxes which leads to no one spending money which hurts the economy.
  • Tourism can causes problems if you have a town that is mostly elderly and for spring break you have a party crowd come in it can hurt the community image.

SOLUTIONS TO TOURISM ISSUES

  • There are many solutions to tourism issues they can start by being more Eco friendly they can do beach clean ups.
  • Have more patrolman patrolling the streets to stop fights and loitering.

PROBLEMS

  • Some problems to being Eco friendly are the developers would have to pay more on all the elaborate systems which means they make a lot less money.
  • Also it would take time to make sure all the systems where in place and working.
