  • Khufu's pyramid was supposed to be his tomb
  • Khufu's father had founded the fourth dynasty of kings
  • Khufu is also known for his creation of the great pyramids

RAMSES MERYAMUM II

  • 1279-1213 B.C.
  • He is regarded as the most powerful pharaoh of the Egyptian empire
  • Had 200 wives 100 sons 60 daughters
  • His army conquered the Hittites empire
  • Ramses temple was built on the west side of the Nile river it is named Abu Simbel temple

NA' AT-KA RA HATSHEPSUT

  • 1479-1457 B.C.
  • The first woman pharaoh
  • Hatshepsut's successor was the greatest of all pharaohs
  • Hatshepsut inaugurated building projects that far outstripped those of her predecessors
  • Hatshepsut's tomb was protected by lots of sphinx

SENUSRET KHEPERKARE

  • 1971-1926 B.C.
  • One of the most powerful kings of his dynasty
  • Senusret means The Man Of Goddess Wosret
  • He served along side his father until his father died then ruled another 34 years
  • Senusret was known for building the white chapel
