  • Candied pumpkins, fresh pumpkin cooked in piloncillo glaze, are sold.
  • Atole is a hot beverage of masa gruel.
  • Chocolate coffins and skulls decorate altars.
  • Sugar skulls are gifts to the living and the dead.
