ELEANOR AND LOUIS VII OF FRANCE WERE MARRIED

LOUIS AND ELEANOR WERE STARTING TO PART AND THEY HAD AN ANNULMENT; divorce

On May 18, 1152

8 weeks after her annulment she married Henry II of England

Henry and Eleanor

WERE COUSINS TO THE 3RD DEGREE BY THEIR COMMON ANCESTORS

ON OCTOBER 25, 1154 Henry became king of England

THEIR MARRIAGE WAS A UNION OF POWER WHERE THEY DECIDED TO COMBINE THEIR LAND AND OBTAIN MORE POWER

Eleanor was crowned Queen of England

by the archbishops on December 19 1154

Over the 13 years Henry had

five sons and three daughters

Their children were Henry, William, Richard,

Geoffrey, John, Matilda, Eleanor, and Joan

After a while

Henry died on July 6 1189.
