What is Electricity?
Electricity is when an electron jumps into an other electrons spot in a different atom.

How is it made?
Wind power works by having a giant turbine that gets pushed by the wind.

The turbine is connected to the main shaft so when the wind blows the turbine the main shaft spins as well.

Connected to the main shaft is spinning coil of wire. Surrounded by the wire is magnets on one side North pole and on the other side south pole.

So the wire repels and attracts so it makes the main shaft spin even faster.

The main shaft is attached to a generator. Then the generator sends the power through to houses, shops and train stations.

How is it moved?
By going through power lines until t is needed.

What is it used for?
It can be used for charging you phone or keep your fridge cool lots of things power can be used for.
