PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Lines are drawn, creased, or sides of objects that have a direction to them. Like these curtains have vertical lines, so the direction is up or down. And in the first picture, the lines are circular going around a centering point.
The different colors on drawings and paintings and everyday objects are all color. Like this picture, it has words on it but it still represents color. I'm the first picture color is represented through different areas of the picture.
Value is the shading from dark to light. Like in this picture it starts out very light, but gets darker as you move further away from the light. I'm the first picture it is shown from the light projecting a silhouette on to the board.
Space is the distance between objects. There is negative space which is solid objects, and in between that would be considered positive space. The space in both pictures is concidered positive because of all the room.
Shape is what makes an object look 2-D or 3-D.
Texture is what makes objects and drawings look smooth, bumpy, or rough.
Form is the shape of things. Like a piece of paper would have a skinny form, while a rock would have a much larger form.
