ELI WHITNEY

Eli Whitney was the inventor of the cotton gin, a machine that revolutionized the production of cotton by speeding up the process of removing the seeds from the fiber.

Besides inventing the cotton gin, He also came up with the idea to use interchangeable parts.Interchangeable parts are parts of a machine that are identical. This made machines easier to assemble and broken parts easier to replace.

In conclusion, he is credited as a pioneer of American manufacturing.
