ALTHOUGH BOXER, A HARD WORKING HORSE WALKS ON FOUR LEGS, HE STILL JOINED IN ON CHANTING.

SQUEALER CONVINCES THE ANIMALS THAT NAPOLEON DOESN'T DRINK MILK OR EAT APPLE FOR PLEASURE.

He justifies Napoleons actions by stating that he needs those food to think properly.

Squealer's ways made the other animals think they would be hopeless without their leader, Napoleon.

Squealers constant loyalty to Napoleon, a tragic ruler, and manipulative ways is highlighted through out the book.

Squealer reflects Stalin from the Great Revolution who was sneaky with words and stayed by the leaders side every chance he had.

Many of the characters in Orwell's novel were based off of leaders from the Great Revolution. Many of which weren't considered good rulers.

Squealer relates to the theme of corruption of power. He uses his power of knowledge to convince the uneducated that they are hopeless without Napoleon, and that, "ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS" (92).
