All papers must be typed, double-spaced (except for bulleting and long quotes

hich are single-spaced), 12-point font, Times New Roman, with page numbers. Margins of 1 inch.
 Sub-titles and use of single-spaced bullets for listing some information are very strongly encouraged.

 Outside research is not required. However papers will regularly reference course connections – class notes, class activities, class assignments, guest speakers, readings, site visits, your event, your chosen challenge, etc. – to illustrate and support your points. Use of many examples and connections from the course readings, videos, lectures, and other experiences from this term are essential for both essays.

 Typically an essay will reference course notes or a course resource or

experience in every paragraph.

 I encourage you to be concise and thorough and to proofread
