MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES AND LEARNING STYLE

Multiple intelligences:
My multiple intelligences are musical, spatial and social. My multiple intelligences will help me I. School the same way my learning styles will. I really believe I am a musical because I like pomes, songs and jingles. I tend to remember music easier.

Learning styles:
My learning styles are visual , tactile, and auditory. Knowing my learning styles help me in school by knowing how I learn and how to improve my learning. Like with studying I can do different visual things.

I like to re-write all notes we do in class and re-peat them in my head to remember . I also get to see them over and over again.

DECISION MAKING AND SELF CONCEPT

POSITIVE SELF ESTEEM CYCLE

  • As i see myself: im a good friend
  • My actions: i help my friends in need
  • As others see me: as a friend to come to.
  • Others reactions to me : " your the only friend i can talk to about this"
  • As i see myself: i am a good friend

NEGATIVE SELF ESTEEM CYCLE

  • Myself : i cant do anything right
  • Actions: i mess up a lot of things
  • Others: i dont do things the right way
  • Other reaction: " you cant do anything right , just stop trying"
  • Myself: i cant do anything right

DECISION MAKING PROCESS

  • What college do i want to go to?
  • MCC, baker college , arts of institution in IL
  • Pros or cons..... Pro play less for MCC , con MCC not having the class
  • Best choice baker college
  • Backer college is like the best of both worlds

TIME AND STRRSS MANAGEMENT

CLUTTER PERSONALITIES

  • Hoarder: person who keeps everything
  • Deferrer: people who set-aside things
  • Rebel: person who was forced to pick up after themselves and refuse to do it when older
  • Perfectionist: person who has everything perfect
  • Sentimentalist: person who never met a memento

One of the labels best for me would be perfectionist because everything has to be perfect. When something has been mover or touched then I freak but then I have a messy spot in my room when there are those random times I don't care.

DESTRUCTIVE COMMUNICATION

  • Criticism : negative message about persons character or personality
  • Contempt: sarcasm and cynicism ( someone very negative)
  • Defensiveness: a ways of blaming someone els
  • Stonewalling: when someone tunes out ; is more in common in males
  • It takes 5 positives comments to make up for 1 negative comment

Other ways of destructive communication:
are harassment , accusing , lies, gossip, you messages, offends , teases, threatening, interrupting , dominating and swearing.

Constructive communication :
Leads to understanding. Some examples are encouraging, asking questions, being honest, respect, and listening.

"I" messages:
They state a feelings and thoughts you are having at the time of communication. An example is someone says to you " you are so lazy. You haven't cleaned your room yet" you can say " I feel unsupported when you call me lazy but I also feel over-controlled when you tell me to clean my room all the time because I would like to do it on my own time when I feel like it."

DATING

Negative dating characteristics:
Speaking freely of past relationships, being oblivious to the partners needs, being unfamiliar with rules of etiquette, pointing out faults, dominating the topic , and pretending to know everything.

Love language?
The love language is how you liked to be shown you are loved. There is words of affirmation ( saying nice things), quality time together, receiving gifts, act of service and physical touch. For me the two lowest ones are act of service and words of affirmation my most scored is quality time and physical touch.

PURPOSE OF DATING

  • Socialization
  • Recreation
  • Mate selection
