Coal
Coal is a nonrenewable source because it takes millions of years in order for it to be produced, and we don't have that much time.

Uranium
Uranium produces quite a bit of energy, but produces a lot of waste and is in limited supply, as well as will erode to an unusable point.

Oil
Oil also takes a long time to produce, and is in limited supply. With everyone using oil all the time, drilling must be done and that can cause earthquakes and volcano eruptions.

Natural Gas
Natural gas is also in limited supply, and won't be able to produce any more for a long time. Mining for this can also cause sinkholes, earthquakes, volcanoes and even tsunamis.

Renewable Energy
Renewable energy are sources of energy that replace themselves such as wind or solar power.

  •  Drain 1-2 gallons from bottom of water heater each year to reduce sediment build up.
  • Install heat traps on hot and cold water lines when it’s time to replace your water heater.
  • Install low-flow shower heads.
