POTENTIAL ENERGY

• When I climb a hill I am increasing my kinetic energy
• My potential energy is calculated by multiplying weight times height.
• My weight is 100kg.
• The height of the hill is 15m.
• My potential energy at the top of the hill is 1500 Joules

KINETIC ENERGY

• Potential energy is changed into kinetic energy
• The steeper the hill the quicker that energy is changed.
• Gravity is what is changing the potential into kinetic.
