PRESENTATION OUTLINE
ENERGY HAS A RELATIONSHIP TO:
- Movement as a medium
- Movement, as raw material
- Movement conceptually transformed and expressed artistically
- Dynamics, a form of non-verbal communication
To create one needs intent. When the question "what if " is applied to a movement with energy and an intent as inspiration; movement behaviors are expressed artistically. Movement shapes fill the empty canvas of the performance space adding a concept to mold and craft the behavior artistically. How the movement is shaped, the manner it rhythmically moves in the Presentation Space fuses the elements of time and energy to create dynamics. Movement dynamically performed clarifies intent and purpose. to spectators. How the intended behavior is perceived by spectators is the artistry of DogWork. Dynamics makes movement talk. Spectators perceive the constantly changing movement shapes emotionally, visually and kinesthetically. The team's artistically expressed movement makes movement talk.
CHOREOGRAPHED MOVEMENT BEHAVIORS & QUALITIES
Every movement and quality has shape, a rhythm and a dynamic. Each behavior has a shape and rhythm but without the go power of energy, the movement doesn't happen. A flow of energy is required to execute a specific movement. Tempos and rhythm add to shape and give information. If a dynamic is added even more is artistically communicated
THE DYNAMIC OF STILLNESS
Even in stillness the team holds the potential of energy within the oneness of their shape. The energy is in the shape of their design. Each team member is 1/2 of the whole, dynamically balanced to express the bond of trust, the glue of their oneness. One can see and feel the energy through the artistic expression of their shape.

ARTISTRY REQUIRES RELATIONSHIPS TO:
- The Presentation Space
- The Musical Choice
- Movement behavior and/or quality
- Success requires at least 2 relationships with the intent
Every movement has a clarifying dynamic, a common rhythm, &
a balanced shape
stillness is
movement caught between coming and going
Every movement made has a design in space and a relationship to everything in that space in time and energy
