PRESENTATION OUTLINE

ENERGY OF ECOSYSTEM

PRUDCERS

  • Make there own food
  • Animals eats it
  • The decitoin of prudcers is a plant that makes its own food

PHOTOSYNTHESTS

  • Photosynthests is a pocess by which green plants make food by using energy from sunlight
  • Plants make food by photosynthests
  • Plants absorb sunlight by photosynthests

CONSUMERS

  • All the animals on earth are consumers
  • Consumers can be grouped by what they eat
  • Some consumers eat plants some eat other animals

CARNIVORES

  • Consumers that eat other animals are call carnivores
  • A shark is a carnivore
  • It gets energy by eating other animals

ONIVORES

  • A consumer that eats both plants and animals are called onivores
  • Many animals including pig, seagulls, cockroaches, and chimpanzees are onivores
  • Bears eat plants and animals

DECOMPOSERS

  • Decomposers are living things that break down aniaml skin, tree trunk and other decaying materials
  • They get the last bit of energy from plants and animals
  • One example of a decomposer is mold

FOOD CHAIN

  • A food chain is a process by which energy passes from one living thing to another
  • For example the sun, sagebrush, lumber grasshoper, texas horned lizard, and red-tailed hawk
  • After the sagebrush energy then flows to the comsumers

FOOD WEB

  • A food web is a process that combines many food chains to show how energy moves through an ecosystem
  • A food web also shows how diffrent orhanisms depend on one another
  • Food webs show how the energy in an ecosystem begins with producers

HERBIVORE

  • An herbivore is a consumer that gets its energy from eating plants
  • Bugs get energy by eating plants
  • The bug will use its energy so the plant will live and grow
