WHAT IS ENERGY?
Energy is the ability to do work.
Energy comes in many different forms.
Some of the forms are heat, light, and sound energy.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but changes from one form to another.
It also moves from place to place.

CONDUCTION
Conduction is the moving of heat between objects that are touching
This happens when molecules gain more heat,
bumping into other molecules and causing them to heat up.
The heat is transferred faster when the conductor is better.
Metal is very good at conducting heat.

4.
CONVECTION
Convection is when hot energy forces cold energy into its
previous place.
This makes a circulation current, or convection current.
An example of this is our atmosphere: the air on the earth's
surface is heated and rises to the top, forcing cold air out of the way

RADIATION
Radiation is heat transfer that doesn't require direct
contact.
Examples of this are the heat from the sun and the
heat from a light bulb.
