Find four quotations from Plato's "Allegory" about the prisoners' chains, feelings, and choices to leave the cave or not.
Note the quotations' page numbers.

Remember, the cave dwellers must be
“. . . dragged up a steep and rugged ascent, and held fast until [they are] forced into the presence of the sun...” (Plato 143).

IMPORTANT!
These quotes must relate to the cave situation you will write about.

STEP 7
What makes the prisoners stay in the cave? How do they feel?
