  • decide to see if accuse you of a crime

  • decide if your innocent or guilty
  • this helped England because this made people go to jail and be safe

  • documents of rights
  • took away some of the kings power
  • kings cant collect taxes without permission
  • right to affair trial by peirs or equals

Habeas corpus

  • Pretects a person from being imprisoned
  • kings/vassals have a certain rights and duties
