CHAPTER 11: CASTLE ROCK

• After failing to light the fire, Ralph decides to hold a meeting
• They decide to journey to Castle Rock to converse with Jack and his followers.
• When Jack arrives, he and Ralph start to fight.
• Jack refuses to listen and commands his group to capture Sam and Eric
• As Jack and Ralph fight again, Piggy tries to raise his voice and holds the shell

CONTINUATION (CHAPTER 11)

• Roger pushes a boulder by the mountainside hoping it would crush them.
• Ralph dodges it, the boulder crushes Piggy, killing him and shattering the shell.
• Ralph retreats into the forest, Sam and Eric are tortured and they forcibly join Jack.

CHAPTER 12: CRY OF THE HUNTERS

• Ralph spies on Jack's group in Castle Rock.
• Ralph tries to talk to Sam and Eric as they guard the gates
• They beg him to leave and they say that he will be hunted the next day.
• He plans to hide in a thicket to misguide the group.
• When he tries to do the plan, he is surrounded.

CONTINUATION (CHAPTER 12)

• Sam and Eric are tortured again.
• They set the thicket on fire but Ralph escapes from it.
• Ralph is then chased by the tribe.
• As he is surrounded by them, a naval officer stands in front of him.
• The officer asks who's in charge as Ralph says he is as the other stay silent.

CONTINUATION (CHAPTER 12)

• The boys are then reminded of Piggy and they get emotional.
• When Ralph mentions how the casualties, the officer grows shocked.
• In the end, the boys are rescued.
