TOM ROBINSON

• People believed he had raped Mayella Ewell
• Taken to court, and it was obvious that he was innocent
• No one believed him because he was black
• Taken to prison and killed even though he was innocent

BOO RADLEY

• Just a normal person
• It was believed that he stabbed his father with a pair of scissors
• Because of this, he was rejected by society
• He did nothing wrong, but had to stay inside all the time

ATTICUS

• Tries to help out Tom Robinson
• Is a good person, but people hate him for helping Tom
• He is judged because he did the right thing

DILL

• Just wanted to be friends with Jem and Scout
• Jem and Scout's family insulted Dill because of his family
• Dill did nothing wrong, but is treated poorly because of his family

MAYELLA EWELL

• Just a normal girl
• Her father beat her for no reason
• She was brought into the Tom Robinson case because of her father
• She never did anything bad to her father, but he did awful things to her
