In our role in delivering Client Support, our CS team interacts with many people, over a myriad of industries. In this role, one of our focuses is a persistent vigilance on public sector purchasing activity.

Our company has detected an extraordinary consistency in the total of government bid requests for Environmental Services work. By the nature of their mission, Environmental Services solutions and services providers contribute a serious benefit to our governments and communities, everywhere, at all levels.

What are the services and solutions at the height of this flow of requests? Environmental services, conservation, pollution, site assessment, remediation, asbestos, duct cleaning, PCB testing, mold remediation, lead testing, decontamination, and demolition.

As my unit has recognized the steady stream of bid requests for these services, we are reminded of the origin of many of these requirements and resulting requests. Here is a partial list of Executive Order and Laws, pertinent to this article, serving to remind us why governments are so attentive to requirements for environmental services.
