How does it get diagnosed???
Different types of seizures respond to different treatments. Your doctor will ask about family history and request several tests.

Where it is found
⚫️Epilepsy is found worldwide. It's doesn't target a certain race or region. Though 3/4 of epileptics live in low and middle income countries.

Random facts.
1⃣ one in 20 epileptics are sensitive to flickering light. The contrast or change in light can trigger a seizure

2⃣ you can't swallow your tongue during a seizure. It's physically impossible.

3⃣only in about 30% of cases is the cause of epilepsy determined. The other 70% remain unanswered.
