Eric Carle

  • Eric Carle was born on June, 1929 in New York. He has grown from humble backgrounds to become a household name in children literature. He moved from Germany to America in 1952 where he began his career as a graphic designer in the New York Times. In 1963 he left the work to focus on other projects related to graphic designing as a freelancer.
  • He is among the most well-known children's books author that has remained in the industry for decades. One of his mot famous works include "The Hungry Caterpillar" released in 1969.

  • An art museum exhibition focusing on the lifetime works that Eric has done was displayed from October 2019 to February 2020.
