2.
WHAT IS EROSION?
Erosion is when rocks break down from natural causes.
The two types of erosion are physical and chemical erosion.
Erosion happens from things like
Rust, ice, water, wind, and other things.

3.
CHEMICAL EROSION
Chemical erosion is when a chemical reacts
To a rock and changes it.
One great example of this is oxidation or rust.
The rock is changed in some way other than
A crack or break.

4.
PHYSICAL EROSION
Physical erosion is when a rock changes it's appearance.
The rock is not acted upon by any chemicals.
Some examples are wind, ice, water, or even gravity.
Physical erosion causes the rock to break,
But no chemicals are involved.

5.
MORE ABOUT EROSION
Even the biggest rocks can be eroded.
Erosion is constantly happening.
Gravity can erode rocks by bringing them down.
This causes the rock to roll and break apart.

6.
WHY IS EROSION IMPORTANT?
Erosion causes rocks to break into dirt.
The dirt can be used to grow crops.
The crops grown from rocks support life.
We are able to survive thanks to erosion.
This process is very important.
