Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells are both important because all living organisms are made up of cells. Cells are the smallest unit of life to be able to carry out the functions, an organism needs to stay alive such as eat, breathe, and reproduce. Also, they both have tiny organelles that float around in their cytoplasm and do important jobs for the cell. and they have control center that contains genetic material call a nucleoid, but in Eukaryotic cells it is called nucleus.
