The Description
It is a freshwater fish that is found in temperate regions in Northern America.

How The Ruffe Came Here
It was accidentally taken to America from the ballast of ships from Europe. The ships came here in the early 1980s.

The Habitat
There habitat is in the water in Lake Superior, Thunder Bay Ontario and Thunder Bay River

What Does It Eat? What Eats It?
It eats Emerald Shiners yellow perch and trout perch. Nothing eats it.
The Bad Things About It
The growth of the Ruffe is resulting in making the population of walleye perch and other fish to go down.

What's Good About It
There is nothing good about the Ruffe.

How Does It Affect other species? It effects it because it invades shores and other species and it is increasing.

What Is The Life Cycle Like?
It lives and dies in a year.
Does It Reproduce or spread quickly?
It reproduces and has thousands of offspring too. They have done nothing to protect it cause it is a invasive species they try to use them for bait
