Hernan Cortes wanted to explore the Aztec Empire and eventually conquer it. He went to The new world for the glory that came with and partially because of his desire to conquer. He was trying to get more land for the Spaniards his homeland.
The Spaniards were very harsh on the governing of the countries they ruled in the new world and did not establish a real government in the new world. Everything official came from from Spain directly.
They had a system of five groups from the least worth to the most worth in their new world colonies. The order is Native Americans, Mestizos , Mulattoes, Creoles, Peninsulares or people born in Spain
4. They showed much interest in Brazil because they wanted to colonize there and move people their to extend their culture and people. They sent missionaries and other people to colonize it.

5. They had a bad relationship at first because they did not agree on a lot of things in common and they invaded their homeland and it did not go well, then they agreed on things and matured and made a colony together and made peace.
6. The significance of the Treaty of Tordesillas was great because it split up the land between many countries an it was a great compromise.
