1. What transports things from one place to another?

  • The use of railway transport has been essential in Europe ever since it was invented in England in the early 19th century
  • Traveling by railway allows passengers to arrive at their destinations in a fast and easy way
  • People in Europe also travel by airway to travel to greater distances
  • Aircraft is also used to carry out cargo, which includes goods that need to be transported

• People also travel through water transport on boats and ferries, and cargo ships also help transport goods.

• Bicycles are very popular in many parts of Europe, such as the Netherlands. These help people get to places faster than on foot, and reduce smog.

• Finally, automobiles such as delivery trucks help transport goods, and cabs or owned cars help people drive to their destinations.

9. What slows down movement of people and goods from place to place?

  • While shipping goods, accidents involving the product can always happen, which slows down the production of goods
