  • And in 1844, it was decided the new buildings for the Houses of Parliament should include a tower and clock

  • It is 1063 ft tall
  • It was built for the World Exhibition in 1889
  • It was named after Gustave Eiffel

  • The Louvre or Louvre Museum is one of the world's largest museums and a historic monument.
  • It is the central landmark of Paris,France.

  • The colosseum was used for roman battles.
  • The colosseum provide entertainment for people of Rome.
  • Titus of Rome had it built.
  • It has about 80 entrances and can accommodate 50,000 spectators
  • Construction of this huge edifice started in 72 CE and was completed in 80 CE.

  • Pisa got its name from a Greek word meaning marshy land in 600 b.c.
  • It's behind the fountain Galileo got baptized in.
  • The tower has 297 steps going to the top.
  • The tower is approximately 14,500 tonnes.
  • The tower is 183 ft tall

  • The queen of England stayed there.
  • The palace was built in 1837.
  • It's the centerpiece of Britain's constitutional monarchy.
