Art Criticism

Decision Making

Evaluator's Task: Facilitation

Evaluator's Task: Facilitation, monitoring, data collection, analysis, interpretation

Goal Based

Outcome: Efficiency, Effectiveness, Impact

Evaluator's Task: Data collection, analysis, interpretation

Example: How have racial equity increased/decreased in SFUSD?

Goal Free

Outcome: Efficiency, Effectiveness, Impact

Evaluator's Task: Usefulness, Impact

Systems Analysis

Outcome: Efficiency, Effectiveness

Evaluator's Task: Monitoring, data collection, analysis, interpretation

Example: Managing a group of people who analyze testing data.

Evaluation Questions: Were the expected outcomes achieved? Were the expected effects achieved efficiently?

Transactional

Outcome: Program Understanding

Evaluator's Task: Participation, data analysis, evaluation interpretation

Example: How is the implementation of Google Classroom compare with the way Google intended?

Evaluation Questions: What does the program look like from different vantage points?
