Summary:

For my life event, I have planned to take a personal trip to the island of the Bahamas with the occupancy of my three friends. My friends and I have set a goal to save $2,000 to put towards the expenses of the trip by saving $200 a piece from every paycheck within a five month period. We will also be returning bottles/cans to help with adding to the total budget. We plan to use a cheaper route and book a flight through JetBlue Airlines, along with booking a hotel room at the Comfort Suites Paradise Islands. Since three guests will be attending, all of us will be splitting the total cost of the package. Our trip will be taking place over the course of five days.

• Time: Leave Michigan on Sun, June 19 at 7:30 am and arrive in the Bahamas at 9:12 am on June 20. Return to Michigan on Sat, June 25, and leave the Bahamas at 10:08 am to arrive at 10:52 pm.

The total due at booking the trip comes to a total of $2882.90. Since each guest is saving $2,000 plus extra, the total between all of us comes to an estimate of $6,000. We combined our money to equal out the amount of money that each of us will be able to spend after paying for the package, and that total comes to $3117.10, which means that each of us individually gets to spend roughly $1,039.
