  • The beginning of the evolution starts with the hyracotherium that was no bigger than a small dog.
  • The hoofs of a has changed the way from four toes to no toes with a hoof combination .

  • As the years progressed horses toes didn't just disappear the fused together to form one hoof.
  • The first type horse was 25 centimeters tall and compared to a modern day horse that is small.

  • If you were to look at a diagram that showed the evolution of a horse you could see the first type of horse has a bump on its back but when you look at the other horse on the diagram you could see that the bump went down and even arched the other way.

  • Also on the bottom of the horses hoofs there used to be footpads like a dog.
  • Evolution also takes parts in fur modern horses now have mains but back then horses didn't have mains.

  • The second type of horse wasn't much bigger but it had longer legs than the first horse which humans had found that it resembles a trait of a modern day horse.

  • Modern day horses now would choose a pasture to graze in but back then there instinct told them to go and graze in a forest.
  • There teeth have also changed the molars went from short and bumpy to short and flat.
