Radio Common Carrier Phone (RCC)
The RCC was introduced in the 60's, as a pre-cellular system. It's was like a radio, which could transmit voice communication.
The Brick Phone
In the early 80's the brick phone made its debut. It was the phone that Marty Cooper made the first mobile call.
The Clamshell
The clamshell was created in the 90's. The clamshell is also known as the flip phone.
The Candy Bar Phone
The candy bar phone was made around the mid 90's and early 2000's. It's called the candy bar phone because it's the same shape and size of a candy bar.
The iPhone
After couple more phones, the iPhone was invented. It was created in 2007 and many iPhones later came the iPhone 6+.
The cellphone has come a long way. It started out big, then got smaller, but now it's getting bigger. I wonder what will come next.
