LIVER
Detoxifies blood
Produces chemicals for deigestion and protein synthesis.

KIDNEYS
Filters the blood for waste.
Produces horomones for red blood cellls in bone marrow.

LARGE INTESTINE
Absorbs & transports remaining water and vitamins from indigestible food.
5.
BLADDER
Allows for urination (which removes liquid waste).

LUNGS
Removes CO2 (gas waste) and takes O2 for the body.
7.
SKIN
Gives off sweat/perspiration.

ORGANS THE EXCRETORY SYSTEM EFFECTS:
THE KIDNEY EFFECTS BONES BECAUSE IT PRODUCES ERYTHROPOIETIN, A HORMONE THAT REGULATES PRODUCTION OF RED BLOOD CELLS IN BONE MARROW.
