Kid Ride Number 1-Magellan Madness

Magellan Madness

• Ferdinand Magellan was born in 1480 in Portugal.
• He  participated in the conquest of Malacca.
• Most importantly, he was the first person to circumnavigate the Earth.
• Our ride will be based off of the Witches' Wheel at cedar point
• and will have ships instead of carts, circling an earth at the center.

Kid Ride Number 2-Hudson River Wars

Hudson River WArs

• Henry Hudson was used the Dutch East India company and their funding
• to try and find a rout to Asia through the Arctic Circle.
• However, he was forced to turn around because of ice cubes.
• Therefore our ride would be like CJ Barrymore's bumper boats, except it 
•  would take place in water full of icebergs.

Themed Ride Number 1-The Nina, The Pinta, and The Santa Maria

The Nina, The Pinta, and The santa Maria

• Christopher Columbus sailed to Central America in 1492.
• He was sponsored by Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain.
• He is known for sparking the Colombian Exchange.
• Our ride is based off of Disney's "It's a small world after all".
• Except we will have people in boats arriving to ancient America.

Main Attraction Number 1-Mexican Jungle Ride

Mexican Jungle Ride

• Hernando Cortez is known for the European conquer of the Aztecs.
• He allied himself with the indigenous people, only to stab them in the back
• He is most famous for his take over of Tenochtitlan.
• He also ruled Cuba from 1511-1518
• Our ride is based off of "Space Mountain" but jungle will replace the space

Restaurant Number 1-The Pirate Barge

The Pirate Barge

• During the days of exploration many pirates plundered cities.
• They often enjoyed fine meals after a successful raid.
• The cannon, along with their ruthlessness, was their method
• of conquering.
• Our restaurant will serve fine foods and is based off of "The Blue Bayou".

• Amerigo Vespucci-Found that Brazil and West Indies werent Asia
• Hernando Cortez-Conquered the Aztecs
• Vaco de Gama-First to reach India by sea
• Bartolemeu-Sailed around southern tip of Africa

• Many goods and services were traded among the exploration
• Candy from Columbus sugar exploration
• Indian tribal hats from the native americans
• Small pox in a can. Many diseases were shared

• New world food-corn, potato, vanilla, tobacco
• Old world food-citrus, apple, banana, mango, onion, coffee
• Many dishes would be served with foods from both places.

• Baroque music and pirate music will be placed out evenly around the park
• Baroque musics most popular contributors include- Bach
• It was classical music that was created with more complexity
• Pirate music used any instrument a pirate had with an old wise song

day of Travel

• The parade would include all the mascots
• Also include the three ships- Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria
• Those three ships were the ships Columbus took to find America
• Also a float resembling the globe
• This would resemble Magellan traveling fully around the world
