PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Explore The Sea

Untitled Slide

We have only explored 40% of our planet. Only 30% of our earth is land and the other 70% is the sea, and humans have only explored 10% of the sea. So, we still have more than half of our planet to explore. I think we should explore our whole planet before we ruin others. I mean if in the 10% we explored we found a Sponge that helps treat HIV, the cure for cancer could be out there for all we know and I’m willing to bet the cure for cancer or other diseases are not on

This is our ocean

If we don't clean up the whole ocean will look like this
there is a trash island the size of Texas, which is 432531 Square Kilometers or 268,820 Square miles in the Pacific Ocean why don't we spend N.A.S.A’s $9.928 billion dollars per year on cleaning up our world.

Ocean Jobs

Not only will we get scientific benefits we will get economic benefits because 1 out of 6 jobs comes from the sea. If we clean it up or do more exploration I bet we can get it up to 2 out of 6 or 1 third.

Stephen Hawkings

“We have less than 200 years to figure out how to escape our planet”
Hawking said that “Our only chance of long-term survival is not to remain inward-looking on planet Earth, but to spread out into space." and “We have less than 200 years to figure out how to escape our planet”

Poseidon Undersea Hotel in Istanbul

It's possible now Wouldn't you like to live there?

Which Side would you rather live on

because you are picking the bottom one
Is space the next frontier, or, instead of going up maybe we should go down? We have only explored 40% of our planet. Only 30% of our earth is land and the other 70% is the sea, and humans have only explored 10% of the sea. So, we still have more than half of our planet to explore. I think we should explore our whole planet before we ruin others. I mean if in the 10% we explored we found a Sponge that helps treat HIV, the cure for cancer could be out there for all we know and I’m willing to bet the cure for cancer or other diseases are not on the moon.

There is a trash island the size of Texas, which is 432531 Square Kilometers or 268,820 Square miles in the Pacific Ocean why don't we spend N.A.S.A’s $9.928 billion dollars per year on cleaning up our world. Not only will we get scientific benefits we will get economic benefits because 1 out of 6 jobs comes from the sea. If we clean it up or do more exploration I bet we can get it up to 2 out of 6 or 1 third.

Many people like Stephen Hawking say we will have to find nother planet to live on, in fact, Space.com said Hawking said that “Our only chance of long-term survival is not to remain inward-looking on planet Earth, but to spread out into space." and “We have less than 200 years to figure out how to escape our planet”. Maybe if we don’t destroy our planet we can live here. Instead of throwing away plastic, glass and paper in the ocean or landfills we should recycle it. Also instead of using fossil fuel from the ocean to make energy we could use water turbines. The ocean is the way to go you can get solar energy from stars but wind and water energy from earth.

Who knows, maybe we could learn how to make fish reproduce faster and make fish farms. Fish is healthier than beef and chicken so that would help overall health of the world. Maybe in a Few hundred years we could live under water and use land for other things.
In conclusion, I think that exploring the ocean is a good idea, from it we can get food, medicine, and possibly even living space.
