Barometric Formula
-Also known as exponential atmosphere and isothermal atmosphere.
-Formula used to display density of oxygen when altitude varies.
-While using natural sources of heat (sun) it can determine temp.

The main equation for atmosphere formula...
P equals P(subscript b) multiplied by T(subscript b) divided by the value of [T(subscript b) plus L(subscript b) multiplied by h minus h(subscript b)]

THE EXPLANATION

  • Divides pressure equations
  • Multiplies density equations
  • Barometric formula also uses the Ideal Gas Law
  • Mix the 3 forms together and you get the Barometric Formula
