Some natural disasters are caused by soil destruction, earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves etc, air pressure and ocean currents.

Humans can cause extinction through pollution, over harvesting, destroying habitats and over hunting. There are also other ways things have become extinct, such as, predators (getting eaten) and natural causes eg, volcanoes, earthquakes etc.

What animals are extinct:
Dodo, Golden toad, Baiji dolphin, Hawaiian crow, Pyrenean ibex, Spix’s Macaw, Liverpool pigeon, Black rhino, Honeycreeper, Quagga, Monk seal, Sea mink, Tasmanian tiger, Tecopa pupfish, Javan tiger, Great Auk, Dinosaurs, saber toothed tiger, Steller’s Sea Cow, Zanzibar Leopard, Dutch Alcon blue butterfly, Pinta Island turtle, Dusky Seaside Sparrow
