PRESENTATION OUTLINE

FACEBOOK  RAISED ME

                                                               Keely Krall

I am part of the 14 million canadians

who log into Facebook everyday.

Scrolling selfies, posts, comments and likes.

Facebook is my digital playpen, the infinite play date.

I use it, “ for all purposes- to express joy and sadness

to have long conversations or send short texts.” Jason Fifer

FB’s integrated life platforms swaddled me.

Whispering the song, I would never be alone.

need constant connection and attention

Like the 7.5 m pre-teens who used the site last year,

I joined under age. (Pew Internet and Consumer Reports Survey 2013)
