Here are some facts about wasting water and how to fix a faucet.

IF WE RUN OUT OF WATER

  • We will die because 70% of our body is water.
  • A faucet with a small leak can waste a lot 15,140 drips=1 gallon a day
  • We need to fix leaky faucets, and if you don't know how here you go.
  • Without water the earth will look like the moon.
  • Some ways to save water other then fixing laeky faucets.

If we run out of water on earth then we will die in three days time because 70% of our body needs water in order to work.

WATER IN OUR BODY

  • 83% of the blood is water.
  • 70% of the brain is water.
  • 90% of the lungs is water.
  • All together our body is
  • Made of 70% water.

Did you now that a small leak from a faucet can waste lots of water. Multiply 1 gallon and 365 days, it is a lot of gallons it wastes a lot of water a year.

HOW TO FIX A LEAKY FAUCET (COMPRESSION FAUCET)

  • .remove the Handles. Take of the off the decorative cap if u have to.
  • Use a wrench to take off the nut. Then, you will find the stem which is on top of the O-ring.
  • Now, pull out the stem which will show the O-ring which is thinner and the seat washer will be thicker.
  • The put the handles and all back together and it should be fixed.

With out all the water in the world then it would look like the moon, water less, life less, and very dark. So we need to save water other wise that will happen to the world.

Here are some ways to save water.
Do not use toilet as waste can. Turn of water after you wet the toothbrush. Take shorter showers. When washing dishes by hand don't leave the water running.
