Because, since the empire was too large, it was hard to gain complete control of it with bad economy.

To have a successful empire you need a string military, but because of the shortage of money it was haft to cooperate with the military.

Conclusion
All of these 3 conflicts combine to form problems, mistrust and that leads to loss of control over the empire and soon the empire starts to divide and allows invasions causing the empire to fall.
