PRESENTATION OUTLINE
My family first came from Somalia .
When the civil war started in Somalia my relatives left the country to a refuge camp in Kenya.
In the refuge camp there was rarely enough food for everyone.
My mother and her siblings were always hungry. They only ate beans that the UN gave them.
Education was provided in the refugee camp for those who wanted to learn.
My mother went to high school in a UN built wooden house. There she got her degree. That was 1994
Eventually my mom and her mom got passports to go to America . That was in 1995
