  • Fanny grew up in Berlin, yet she was born in Hamburg.
  • Her mother had predicted her future passion for music.
  • Fanny was the eldest of 4 children
  • Fanny received her first piano instructions from her mother.
  • She was baptized yet her family still shared moral values of Judaism.
  • She was inspired by her mother, and could have been inspired by her aunts.
