1950'S

• Defined waists
• Vibrant colors and floral patterns were trendy
• Pencil skirts and Bermuda shorts came into fashion
• Saddle shoes gained popularity
• Handbags became increasingly popular

1960'S

• Short, loose fitting mini dresses
• Bubble sleeves
• Cropped jackets
• Polo shirts were a part of everyday clothing
• Bellbottoms, capris and mini skirts

1970'S

• Polyester was a popular material
• Platform shoes
• Pantsuits, leisure suits and track suits were worn
• Tunics and robes
• By the end of the decade, bright colors lost popularity

1980'S

• Bright colored accessories
• Teased hair and loud makeup
• Pants varried from parachute pants to leggings
• Fashion was inspired by television stars
• Excersize clothes, headbands and legewarmers

1990'S

• Solid colored t-shirt
• Overalls
• Body-con/skin tight dresses
• Baggy light-wash high waisted jeans
