I believe this is the trickle across theory, it isn't very expensive, but it can look that way, so anyone who uses it can look 'fancy'.
3. Crop Tops
This fashion trend is most probably from the trickle up theory. It's refreshing, and is more practical than fancy with the warm weather.
4. The Full Ladylike Skirt
This fashion movement theory is the trickle down. Ladies wore these skirts all the time, and now our fashion-forward girl friends have brought them back to fancy wear.
5. High-waisted Shorts
This trend has hit us hard again, with celebrities seen in them on the streets, seen on models, and now just about everyone is wearing the cute tummy-covering shorts. This is the trickle down effect.
