How do we do it?

Barrett Ward

Founder/CEO
Barrett is our leader. He is a visionary and a big picture thinker. He likes to look into the future and he inspires us. He's often in and out of the office but he holds weekly meetings on Monday mornings to set the tone and focus for the week. He's big on communication. Every employee has each other's cell phone numbers. A portion of your bill is paid so to help with communication costs.
Barrett has an assistant which helps us with admn stuff.

Internal Communication

Slack
We use an in house communication system called, "slack"- its messaging for any device and helps streamline communication. It can be broken up into "departments" or "meetings" but it is available to everyone in the office and helps us to keep work and personal separate (instead of just using imessage)
We also rely on email and just yelling down the hall!

External Communication

Email/Social Media

  • Global staff member in Ethiopia- GoogleDocs, manages international communication
Live GoogleDoc that has a current to do list.

Customers

  • Email list- immediate, engages customer base (most loyal base)
  • Instagram- more inspirational, biggest social following
  • Facebook- sales, utilizes eCommerce director for ads on FB

What does all of this mean?

Why does it matter?
