Timeline of events
- June 1994: GPO launches GPO Access
- January 2009: FDsys is unveiled
- November 2011: GPO Access becomes "archive only"
- March 16, 2012: GPO Access is shut down
FDsys contains around 50 different collections of Federal Government information.
These collections are of use to both legal and non-legal researchers.
FDsys provides the content and sophisticated searching capabilities of subscription databases, without the cost.
