WHAT DO FEDERAL AGENTS DO?

  • Federal agents have to be good at solving puzzles.
  • F.B.I., stands for federal bereau of Investigation.
  • They solve cases that police can't solve. (Usually after three deaths of citizens.)
  • Also people that like to kill for pleasure.
  • They study the behavior of people that kill for pleasure.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • You have to know transferable skills.(reading, writing, etc.)
  • You have to know the law.(knowing the rights and reading them to the criminal.)
  • You also have to be good at solving codes.
  • You must have four year degree of college or university.
  • You have to know the basics of knowledge.(math, science, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be at least 23.
  • You need to be physically fit.
  • MUST go to FBI Acadamey.
  • You get paid at the academy.
  • The money is good, but not what real experienced agents get.

DEMANDS

  • This job demands a lot of physical fitness.
  • Each day is success or failure or life or death.
  • Its so demanding some agents quit.
  • Its a lot of pressure too.
  • Most agents are stressed out.

Hours required:
You have to be ready around the clock.
It's hard if you have a family.(you have to leave them alone at any given time.)
Most agents really don't have families.
Agents who have families get divorced because of their career.

AVERAGE PAY

  • Most FBI agents are paid on a GS-10.
  • A trainee gets paid $1,963 per each two-week pay period.
  • Feild officers who have more experience get paid on average $61,100 and $69,900.(depending on the region)
  • Most bonuses are $22,000.
  • New York, San Frasico, Los Angolos, San Deigo, Washington DC, Boston, and Newark get paid the bonus above.

It is unclear how much this job is needed in the future.
I have no clue if they are going to make a robot to do cop/special agents to do the work.

  • When people say "federal agent" people think FBI, but that is only one of the 100's of careers like this.
  • FBI agents are special agents.
  • Usually special agents are part of the three branches of government.( executive, legislative, judial.)
  • They are mainly part of the judicial branch.

Vocabulary:
Executive- a person or group of people having administrative authority in an organization.
Legislative- having the function to make laws.
Judicial- judgments in courts of justice or to the administrative of justice.
