FEDERAL ADVANTAGES

• Local government handles local problems
• People administrate the power to the government
• Local government can focus on local problems and federal gov can focus on federal problems

FEDERAL DISADVANTAGES

• Power disputes between local and federal
• Laws passed may counter each other
• Different parts of local government will want different civil right laws

UNITARY ADVANTAGES

• Every thing is the same through out the state
• Lesser conflict of local and national gov
• Greater unity and stability

UNITARY DISADVANTAGES

• Cental gov doesn't care about local concerns
• Central gov takes a long time to care about local concerns
• Do not meet concerns of citizens
